Campbell Grimes
Hi, I'm Campbell Grimes and I'm going into my sixth year at Severn School. I'm so excited to have this wonderful opportunity to dive into my passion with the help of the Fellows program. A lifelong football fan, I have played for the Severn football team all six years at the school. Additionally, I love playing baseball, chess, and spending time outdoors with my friends. During my limited free time in the fall I can often be found sitting down watching NFL football games. As my knowledge of the game has expanded, I have become increasingly fascinated with the analytical side of football. Seeing as JP and I have always enjoyed math, particularly statistics, we knew exactly where to start when brainstorming our ideas for this passion project. I cannot wait to learn more about the intersection of these two fields and paint football in a newfound light of statistics.

JP Meyer
My name is JP Meyer. Going into my eighth year at Severn School, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to pursue my personal interests through the Fellows program. On top of my studies, I enjoy running, hiking, and biking. Most of all, though, I enjoy watching sports, specifically the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. Along with Campbell, I have also always been interested in not only the play on the field, but the numbers behind the game. Especially as I have learned more about the different sectors of math, statistics has also stood out because of it's applicability, and with these two passions, it became clear that a statistical study of football would be the topic of choice for me and Campbell. I am very excited to learn more about the statistics of football and help pave a new path in the way that football is watched and studied.
